Westbank + Mirvish Village

EXHIBIT DESIGN

Challenge: Renowned architectural development firm Westbank is ready to revitalize Toronto's Mirvish Village neighbourhood with purpose-built rental units, world-class features and innovative retail – but preserving the community's heritage is always top of mind. Westbank and their partners sought to design an exhibition for the public that captured the richness of days gone by in Mirvish Village.

Solution: We worked closely with Westbank and their partners to draw the community together via interactive exhibit installations in a restored historical building. Signage and labeling were also created to inform, engage and guide visitors through the space.

Working in concert with illustrator Ian Phillips, we created cheeky custom graphics to integrate throughout the exhibit, providing a consistent appearance while celebrating the unique history of Mirvish Village and the Mirvish Family.
