Westbank + Park People

EXHIBIT + PRINT DESIGN, DIGITAL MARKETING

Challenge: Markham House is an incubator space central to architectural development firm Westbank's revitalization of the Mirvish Village neighbourhood. Visitors can glean more information regarding the project and also enjoy a variety of rotating exhibits. With a shared interest in public spaces, Westbank partnered with Park People, a Toronto charity with a focus on improving the city's parks, for one such exhibit. We were tasked with designing an experience that brought life to the material an engaging way.

Solution: We created an overarching look for the exhibit that complemented the Park People brand and visually delineated their unique space inside Markham House. Signage and infographics were created to inform and guide visitors through the exhibit, as well as an interactive voting station to further engage those who stopped by.

Neighbours and visitors alike were encouraged to vote for what they value most in parks. In the end, public art and water features drew the most attention.
